Warren Buffet once said “Without passion, you don’t have energy. Without energy, you have nothing.”
This statement was made by the seventh richest man in the world. Some might say that it’s easy to have passion when you are the seventh richest person in the world. I disagree. For me, passion is the fuel for the engine of success.
The year 2020 has been incredibly tough for many people around the world. But for me it has been nothing but happiness. In January, I found out that I won a full tuition scholarship from the Next Genius Scholarship Program to Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. This was the best news I could have hoped for. By graduation I received news that made me even happier. I received two awards from my school – Best Outgoing Student and Best Leadership. My time as Vice President of the Student Body at Bethany High showed me that communication between different people is very important. I concluded the academic year with a 4.0 GPA and dreams to pursue something greater than myself.
My new journey at Muhlenberg has just started and it has been nothing short of happiness. I met some amazing people, made new connections and learnt many new things. I intend to pursue a double major in psychology and media and communications. During my time at Muhlenberg, I hope to collaborate with faculty on research topics, take part in different clubs and make some new connections.
